Terryeo is one those scientology "plants" disguised as an ordinary Radar reader. Her name has appeared before when there's been any article containing even mild criticism of Scientology. In fact that's the only time the name appears. There's another Scientology hack that responded to a later blog farther up the column. Probably the same person.
It's as if the "church" has a PR department that tasks it's people with Googling the internet, scanning for articles so they can counter any negative comments with the opinions of random "ordinary" folks. Sad.

Ms. Galofaro, I don't understand how you do this to yourself week after week. You, dear lady, are a true masochist. I'm not sure if you deserve pity or applause.

Yoko: I've been checking out ALL the comment sections and couldn't fail to notice your efforts. To be honest, my first thought was..."what's up with this weirdo and the phony affections in speech patterns?". My second thought was that you come off as some kind of mentally ill tranny that I probably don't want to engage in the comment section (check out archives of Taylor Hicks articles for "why"). Sorry.

Having just read your post above, I realize that my first impression may be incorrect. Lose the alter-ego and be yourself sweetie. I think the real you is more interesting.

MetaRae: ALL of the candidates have their own room full of speech writers. Do they ever credit them at the beginning or end of every speech they make ? No.
Referencing copyrighted material or parts of another's public speech is one thing. Latching on to a phrase that your friend said you could use is another.

BTW: I'm from Mass. I voted for Patrick. Hated/did not vote for Romney (as Mass Governour). I refuse to vote for a female presidential candidate just because she's a woman. After 8 years of Dub'ya I going to vote for the one I think is "least evil". For me , that's Obama. If the superdelegates say it's Hillary, then I'll probably vote for her in protest against the Republicans

In my experience; The two subjects reported on by Radar most likely to attract the most comments AND self-deluded trolls are...(drum roll please) Scientology and Taylor Hicks. How bizarre is that?

Keep the comments coming folks and maybe Scientology Nutjobs vs. People Capable Of Thinking For Themselves will break the record of 400+ comments set by Taylor Hicks Nutjobs vs. People Who Don't Need Anti-Psychotic Medication

Dear AngryAfrican,
I hate to break it to but America already has a place at the "global table". Unfortunately we have terrible manners. Also...I refuse to visit your blog until I'm assured that you are, indeed, both angry and african. Thank you.

Thank you Mr. Kaiser for another insightful feature. It's depressing to know that the politcal process is every bit as warped as I suspected. For what it's worth, I still have a vote. I voted yesterday. I'll vote in November. Did Mr. Lewis discuss any strategies on how to reverse the trend of mainstream media's "gutting" of investigative journalism among it's ranks?

I just got home from work and couldn't help myself. I just checked in to see if this thread was still running. Incredible. Maybe this will help...

There is one irrefutable fact that is obvious to all but the mentally ill...If you are a Rabid Taylor Hicks fan(atic), YOU ARE ON THE WRONG WEBSITE !

better now?

If Nip/Tuck wasn't on right now I'd be tempted to wander over there myself just to screw with them... woops, the commercials are over, later!

Posted by: lbh on February 5, 2008 10:26 PM

Glad to hear about the AOL coverage. Maybe now all the psychotic T.H. fans will scurry over there with their delusional rants. They're lowering the property values 'round here. Reader definitely needs to stop by the pharmacy on the way.

@dirty sanchez: sorry no koolaid, just a misunderstanding. I thought you were another poster from another site I visit often. Apparently yours is a popular nickname. Who would've thunk it?
Anyway, that Dirty Sanchez would've gotten a chuckle out of the "Nick" reference. In hindsight, I should've realized you were a different sanchez. The other is funny and not likely to be wasting time leaving comments about D-listers like T. Hicks.
Again...my apologies

Posted by: lbh on February 5, 2008 8:48 AM

hey dirty sanchez....nice to see another cracked fan. I didn't know Nick (as in DB Nick) had a retarded half-sister. Did you ?

Posted by: lbh on February 4, 2008 8:25 PM

For some reason I've never really been able to figure out, I've been a long-time Gabriel Byrne fan. "Miller's Crossing" maybe. Anyway...over the years I've noticed that he has trouble picking winners. I'll keep my finguers crossed. Who knows ...maybe this will reinvigorate his career the way "Deadwood" salvaged Ian McShane's.

Get real ! Ms. Coulter hasn't been grabbing any headlines lately with her usual sickening vitriol. Taking into account what a vile wack-job she is, this is either...

a. her making another attempt to grab some media attention so she can feel relevant

b. her attempting a thinly veiled ploy to scare democrats away from the candidate she sees as being more likely to win against a republican for the presidency.

I thought Pillars Of The Earth was a great read. Loved it 15 or so years ago when I first read it, even if it was essentially a medieval soap opera centered around the building of a cathedral. People... Too long ? I could understand if you're checking it out of the library, but don't most libraries let you re-borrow it once at least. I guess the collective attention span of average American's has been reduced to length of you typical Stephen King novel. sigh.

" I went to Iraq and all I got was this crappy t-shirt (and my face burned off). Gee , thanks Mr. President."

Hellooo! PEPPERMINT PATTIE ?

Posted by: lbh on October 29, 2007 2:54 PM

I'm proud to say that Massachusetts was the first state to make gay marriage legal after the state supreme court ruled the ban unconstitutional and inspite of efforts by the then Romney administration to get it overturned. New Hampshire was only willing to recognize "civil unions". Go California !

omg. leave the woman alone! even at a so called 70 lb.'s overweight, she looks better than most of us moms on our best day. as for the snide comment about her lack of acting talent... i'd like to know how many block-buster movies that writer has headlined. Hmmm?
BTW : Although I've enjoyed many of the movies she's been in, I wouldn't particularly call myself a fan. I'm just so sick of people in the press playing the "fat card" and then turning around and lamenting the influences that encourage eating disorders in our society.
