What if the person who shouted those things was a paid Republican operative, like the ones they paid to form a mob to intimidate Florida vote counters in 2000? That sounded like a trained performer's voice to me, so loudly heard above the crowd, and timed just right to come across clearly.

I hope our fellow citizens in the Secret Service find out who that man was. If it turns out that was a paid Republican operative, I hope they put the guilty on trial, and we have our first presidential election with one candidate in jail facing charges of inciting a crowd to assassinate a presidential candidate.

I hope most of all that it's NOT a GOP operative, and it really was some "lone nut" the Secret Service can keep an eye on, but if McCain and Palin are guilty of paying an actor or carnival barker to shout those things, they should face serious charges of inciting a crowd to assassinate a United States Senator and future President.
