Producer Gale Anne Hurd -- who knows a little about hits, having produced The Incredible Hulk and Punisher: War Zone, and Aliens and T2 before that -- has a good feeling about another comic book character: Gearhead.

Created by Dennis Hopeless and Kevin Mellon, it's about a female drag racer who is convinced to join a rebel gang to battle corrupt superheroes who are actually running the U.S.

This Gearhead is not to be confused with the villainous Gearhead who appears on the Batman cartoon series.
