Cindy Adams: "The Post Lies!"

simmons_swears.jpg
New York Post gossip dowager Cindy Adams ascends from the ossuary this morning to defend a pal who's had a recent spot of bad press: "FINAL note on the Sue Simmons kerfuffle. Someone 'reported' her drinking at Gallagher's. She hasn't been in Gallagher's since the dinosaurs ate there. Her last time, years ago, was with me. And she had a soft drink." Cindy makes a good point: You can never trust what you read in shoddy tabloid periodicals.
