HOPE FLOATS Obama
Spelling it out: Barack Obama won by a large margin over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday's Mississippi primaries. Also, the Texas Democratic caucuses were finally called, and the big O won that too. Still, Clinton presses on, with her camp saying they "look forward to campaigning in Pennsylvania and around the country as this campaign continues."

Good cop out: After an Esquire story about calling him the "good cop on Iran" who was "brazenly challenging" president Bush and the possibility of an "unsound war," William J. Fallon, the top U.S. military commander for the Middle East, resigns.

Seriously: David Letterman got serious on his show Tuesday night, ranting about Eliot Spitzer and demanding that Governor Hobagger quit. "He should have just stepped down. He should have stepped down yesterday ... Get out of the office," Letterman said, "for the love of god."

WAIT, THERE'S MORE: America's dirty girls, Hugh Laurie's method acting, and George Clooney's timely dilemma.

HPVD: A new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds that one in four teenage girls in the U.S. has a sexually transmitted disease.

Method acting: House doc Hugh Laurie says he pops Vicodin to better portray his painkiller-addicted character.

Checking the time: George Clooney takes a page from Steven Spielberg in his dealing with Omega Watches. Clooney has shilled for the wristwatch company since 2007, but they're also a sponsor for the Beijing Olympics, which goes against Clooney's humanitarian causes. He's asking that the timekeepers help him protest China's foreign policy in Sudan.

Hallelujah: Fresh off his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 73-year-old Leonard Cohen announces a world tour.

Papa, don't preach: Dina Lohan isn't the only LiLo parent dreaming of a TV career. Lindsay's born-again papa, Michael, is trying to sell a male version of The View, with fellow Bible-thumper Stephen Baldwin.

Off the page: Jimmy Wales, creator of Wikipedia, is accused of taking donations in exchange for favorably editing one man's Wikipedia entry.

It was all a dream: Tim Gunn fave Nancy Pelosi says an Obama/Clinton or a Clinton/Obama ticket is "impossible."
