On the eve of the latest Will Farrell-as-assclown movie, Semi-Pro, the New York Daily News' Sean Evans talks to one of its stars, actor and Poehler bear Will "GOB" Arnett about "retards," Polio, and the funniest comedian on the planet, his wife, Amy.

A rabbit, in so much as we can tell, was not pulled from a hat. No one was sawed in half or buried alive, only to escape. Evans did, however, share a fun bit with Radar that didn't quite make the final version of the story. He asked Arnett about Devon Banks, the gay jerkwad studio exec he plays on 30 Rock and what NBC—and its chief Jeff Zucker in particular—think about him playing a character that's both astoundingly real and representative of everything that's wrong with the TV industry.

Arnett laughed and answered: "I've never asked him about it. But I do think those guys have a pretty good sense of humor about it. They must. I think you have to in doing what they do. [But Devon] is a fun character. I was so happy when they first asked me to do it. Having been on a show that was always on the ropes, like Arrested Development, it felt like we were always fighting for our lives. Week to week, we never knew whether we were going to be back on the air. Now, to be able to play this network jack ass..."

"Sweet sense of irony there?" Evans asked.

"Yeah," Arnett said. "A little bit."
