< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Michael Sands Has Goods on Britney Case and He's Not Telling
MYSTERY MAN Sands "Mr. Eardley is not Ms. Spears attorney and acted improperly by removing her conservatorship proceeding to federal court," the judge wrote. It's a double whammy, admits Sands (who also is the spokesman for Britney former BFF Sam Lutfi). But he swears the meat of the motions Eardley was trying to file are bound to come out—just not through him. "It was a setback, but Jon Eardley is going forward," Sands tells Radar. How, exactly, he won't say. All throughout the latest Spears drama, Sands has been hinting at massive conspiracies. He also says he was connected with Lutfi through deep government sources and that all of this, plus potentially embarrassing info about his work for Kevin Federline attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan (Sands says he quit Kaplan Feb. 4), will come out if he's deposed as planned March 5. Sands was originally subpoenaed by Trope and Trope, but the firm recently dropped Britney in her custody case with K-Fed. New family law attorney Stacey Phillips plans to follow through on the deposition at her Los Angeles office. The only way Sands will spill what he knows and how he knows it, he says, is in a closed-door, sealed testimony. Otherwise, he says he's pleading the Fifth. In other words, the world at large might never know what the hell he means when he hints at massive sums of misappropriated pop star funds, racketeering, RICO act violations, and more in relations to Spears financial situation. The deposition, which he says he's completely opposed to, will, in effect, lock down information that should get out. "How I met Sam [Lutfi] and how I met Jon [Eardley], people are very interested in the intricacies, which they may never know," Sands laments. Or will they? Sands has, and is, nothing. He was just trying to extend his ride on the Britney gravy train after KFed's lawyer fired him. But this information you published is useful to us. Thank you.
